15 minutes drive from Raglan is the Bridal Veil Falls. At 55 metres high they are regarded to be among the most spectacular falls in the North Island.
The Bridal Veil Falls are 15 kms off the main road back toward Hamilton and are well signposted.
From the car park it is an easy flat walk through lush native bush to the top of the falls where you will find fantastic views from the two top viewing platforms.
A further 10 minute walk down the steep but stepped path takes you to the bottom of the falls for an equally dramatic view of these spectacular falls.
A great half day trip for the family and a good way to stretch your legs too.
