Pop through the sand dunes just behind the tent sites and hey presto! You're already at the beach! Bring your bat and ball for a good old fashioned game of cricket... or just lounge about on your beach towel.
Facing onto the harbour 'our' beach is pretty much exclusive to Raglan Holiday Park. The beach is a great place to swim, launch your canoe, your dingy or windsurfer.
You could even start your kite surfing here and then head across to the popular play area among the waves of the harbour mouth.

A short drive from the campground the beautiful Ngarunui Beach is the main swimming beach at Raglan and is home to the Raglan Surf Life Save Club. Ngarunui Beach is a beautiful west coast beach with sun sand and surf galore.
Ngarunui Beach is also a great safe place to boogie board and excellent to learn how to surf. And check out the majestic stone carvings that greet you at the top lookout when you first arrive at Ngarunui Beach.
(Note that the wild sandy beach at Rangipu, located at the far north end of Ngarunui Beach, is NOT safe for swimming due to the strong tidal currents).
