Raglan Surfers
Raglan is regarded as a Mecca for surfers world wide. It's three separate point breaks at Indicators, Manu and Whale Bays regularly produce a world-class wave when conditions are right.

And for the less ambitious surfer Raglan also boasts some great beach breaks as well.

Approximately 7 kms for the Camp ground Manu bay is the most popular surf spot and hosts many national and international surf events throughout the year. And at Manu Bay you can pretty much grab your board out of your car and leap off the rocks right into the action.

Just south of Manu Bay Whale and Indicators Bays also deliver a mean world-class surfing wave.

Access to these bays is by foot only via the and to get to Indicators be prepared for a 600m walk over the rocky shoreline - but when it is working, it sure is worth it.

Not yet up for tackling the rocky surf breaks of Indicators, Manu and Whale Bays? Ngarunui Beach is also a great safe place catch a wave or to learn how to surf.

So no matter what your level of surfing skill with so many choices at Raglan it's like a surfers smorgasbord.
